Chick delivered 9 beautiful babies on June 12, 2025! 5 girls and 4 boys.

A 5pt Major and New Titles at the Start June Cluster!
We had a busy weekend at the Start June Cluster with several dogs in tow! Yukon won a HUGE 5 pt major by going Winner’s Dog/Best of Winners under Judge Vicki Sandage DVM. He has both his majors needed for his AKC Championship and 12 points. We are close!
Lozen showed well and went RWB to the major under Judge Vicki Sandage DVM. She also finshed her BCAT title!
Vegas finished her Companion Dog Obedience Title and her Rally Advanced Title!
Leisl and Jozee won a couple Intermediate Rally trials and stepped in to the Beginner Obedience Ring and earned a couple Q’s towards her BN title.
Retired Bird and Ryley also competed in Advanced Rally for the first time, completed their Beginner Novice Obedience Title and got their first leg towards their CD!

Lozen takes an AKC Group 1!
At the Mason City Kennel Club (Iowa) on Sunday April 20th, under Judge Del Richards, Lozen was awarded Best of Breed (over specials!) and went on to be awarded an regular Group 1 for her first AKC Major! She also was awarded an Owner-Handled Group 3 under Dr Steven Keating.

Yukon finishes his ASCA Championship in one weekend!
Yukon participated in his first ASCA show weekend at the Gateway Australian Shepherd Club Chili Chaser in Gray Summit MO and finishes in 4 shows with all Major wins! He was even selected as Best of Breed two times under ASCA Sr. Breeder Judges Melinda Vinson and Liz Busquets!

Yukon goes Best in Show!
I brought 8 month old Yukon out to the UKC Iowa Kennel Club Show in Grinnel IA in September to get his very first show weekend under his belt. Not to my surprise, he handled everything wonderfully. But to my surprise, my little baby boy took Breed, a Group 1 and a BEST IN SHOW under Judge Lila Fast! Good boy, Yukon!

Opal and Olive hit the ring!
Olive and her first purebred Aussie, BellSharps Mining in the Outback “Opal” (Connor x Bird, co-owned with Kaity Sevits) hits the ASCA ring for the very first time in both the breed classes and Junior Showmanship at the GASC Summer Showdown! They took 3 class wins in the 6-9 month class and did a phenomenal job! Way to go girls!

Vegas finishes her ASCA Championship in a single weekend!
At the Gateway Australian Shepherd Club Summer Showdown Aug 16-18th, Vegas was awarded High in Circuit. Over the weekend, she was awareded:
Best of Breed under ASCA Provisional Judge Star Mathis
Winner Bitch, Best of Winners & Best of Opposite under ASCA Sr. Breeder Judge Annette Cyboron
Winner Bitch and Best of Winners under ASCA Breeder Judge Hope McQueen
She finished her ASCA Championship in one weekend with three 5-point majors!
